How to take good care of your Guppies

                 Hello friends in this blog you will find details on how to take good care of your guppies in your home fish aquariums. As all of you know guppies are tiny little colourful fishes & it's very attractive to watch them swim in your aquarium tank every once in a while.

               Guppies(Poecilia reticulata) are generally found in tropical freshwater. Generally, male guppies are more colourful & attractive than their female counterparts.

               To keep your guppies happy & healthy take care of below-mentioned factors which are as follows :

• Water Condition: It is always a good choice to use dechlorinated water to put in your aquarium tank for your guppies. For dechlorinating the tank water you can keep the tap water in your tank as it is for a week or you can also use dechlorinating liquids readily available at your nearest pet store. And guppies strives on a temperature ranging between 24 to 28 degree Celsius. In any case, if the temperature of water rises or drops for any reasons you can replace some tank water with either cold water or hot water to maintain a balance in temperature.

• pH Level: The ideal pH level for guppies is between 6.7 to 8.0 as they like higher pH level.

• Water Filtration: For guppies, you don't really need a special filtration system installed in your aquarium tank if you change 50 per cent of your aquarium water every week. But it is always good to have a filtration system in your tank.

• Feeding: Guppies can feed on small pellets that can be easily eaten by guppies as they are small sized fish species. Try not to overfeed them as they are always looking to eat. Maintain a specific feeding time for your guppies. Also, try to keep them well fed as they have a tendency to eat their fry as well.
